My wife had sleeve gastrectomy surgery yesterday. This is the view from the hospital room.
She’s definitely going to be ok.

My best friend had that done last year (she’s been 200-250# since high school, now almost 40). She already dropped about 80# and the doctors say she now has a good chance of living a full life. Before that, they basically said “You have to be prepared to die at 50 or 60" which hit her like a ton of bricks. Nothing else she tried worked (Her dad was 350# and died young...very much genetic). Good luck on a speedy recovery!

My wife gained 100 lbs in under a year due to a medication and had become insulin dependent so she needed something. She had lost 40 lbs before the insulin and then gained 10 right away. - within a month of getting the prescription.
So it’s really the best bet to mark things work.

Just got home. She’s napping in a haze of pain and anti-nausea medications
